In-home care franchise FirstLight HomeCare announces its 2015 earnings in a media release.

Per the release, the franchise’s 2015 revenues total $52 million, which represents a 98% increase over 2014 revenues.

FirstLight HomeCare covers 165 territories in 31 states across the country, and provides 50,000 of in-home care non-medical companion and personal care services to those in need, such as seniors, new mothers, and patients recovering from surgery. Services include bathing and hygiene, walking and mobility assistance, continence and toileting assistance, and live-in services, the release explains.

“In-home senior care is a need that is going to grow significantly in the next few years,” says Jeff Bevis, FirstLight HomeCare chief executive officer, in the release.

“As Baby Boomers age, more than 90% of them say they prefer being able to age in place, according to an AARP study,” he adds.
