The World Parkinson Coalition will host the WPC Scientific Update 2015 webcast from October 6 to 8.

During the webcast, scientists from around the world will present their latest Parkinson’s disease (PD) research findings twice daily via live, interactive online panels, according to a media release from the World Parkinson Coalition.

According to the release, topics will include: new therapeutic strategies for Parkinson’s disease, including pharmacology and bioengineering instruments; emerging targets aimed at alleviating PD symptoms unresponsive to dopaminergic treatment; neuro-physical, clinical, and rehabilitation impacts of exercise on Parkinson’s; cognitive challenges for people with PD at different stages; and the impact of gene and stem cell therapy on PD.
