Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory US announces that registration is open for the next three webinars in its ongoing educational webinar system, created to help healthcare professionals ensure the integrity of their compliance and reimbursement programs.

The first webinar, “Evaluating Your Compliance Program for Best Practices,” will take place on February 8 from 1 pm to 2 pm EST. Robert W. Liles, JD, MBA, MS, and Paul Weidenfeld, JD, will discuss government guidance, focusing in on the Seven Elements of Compliance as found in the “HCCA-OIG Compliance Effectiveness Roundtable” issued last March.

On February 13 from 1 pm to 2 pm EST, Nadia Fahim-Koster, CISSP, HCISPP will lead “Polish Off Your Privacy Monitoring Program.” The information privacy and security leader will outline how to implement a privacy monitoring program that will position your organization to both proactively identify when there is a risk of a data breach, and align you with HIPAA/HITECH auditing requirements.

HIPAA Regulation and Enforcement: 2017 in Review and Predictions for 2018,” will take place on February 15 from 1 pm to 2 pm EST. Lisa Acevedo and Kathleen Kenney of Polsinelli will cover OCR settlements in 2017 and 2018 enforcement predictions, breach preparation and response, trends in healthcare cyberattacks and training tips and bridging the gap between IT and the C-suite.

All webinar participants will be eligible to receive HCCA CEUs.
