A partnership has been formed between Vantage Mobility International (VMI) and AMVETS in an effort to support veterans, their families, and US active military. A news release from VMI states the partnership recognized the Phoenix-based company as an Official Vehicle Mobility Partner and is part of the company’s ongoing effort to reinforce its Operation Independence program.

Jeff Weston, vice president of sales and business development, VMI, emphasizes that the “partnership will enable our organizations to reach more and do more for the courageous men and women who serve our country. We’re excited about being affiliated with the wonderful team at AMVETS and being recognized as the organization’s Official Vehicle Mobility Partner.”

According to the release, AMVETS is the first World War II organization to be chartered by Congress and is now represented at 38 national locations, in 25 states, and at 27 VA Regional offices by national services officers (NSOs). AMVETS provides advice and action on compensation claims at no charge to veterans.

J. Michael Fisher, development director, AMVETS, states in the release, “The VMI team shares our belief that military men and women deserve the absolute best in care, support, and resources in return for their honorable service. We look forward to working with VMI to help disabled American veterans find access to quality mobility transportation.”
