For a limited time, Freedom Designs, Simi Valley, Calif, is offering a “Sizzling Summer Sensation” promotion; when any of its wheelchairs are ordered along with a “complete” Freedom Designs Seating System for that wheelchair, the company will include a free Freedom Canopy and free Freedom Backpack in the package.
Canopies are offered in black and marketed in four sizes for each wheelchair width, up to 18 inches wide. These sizes range from 10 inches to 12 inches, 12 inches to 14 inches, 14 inches to 16 inches, and 16 inches to 18 inches.
Once a wheelchair is ordered, the company reports that it will then size the canopy to fit the frame. The canopy features a top view window to allow the attendant to see the child and a zippered pocket in its rear flap to allow for attendant storage. The canopy is designed to flip back for quick access, and snaps on and off back posts easily.
Backpacks are also marketed in black.
