ZooMe-R three-and four-wheel recreational scooters are now part of Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare’s Power Mobility product line, according to a company announcement.

ZooMe-R scooters are built to support riders who weigh up to 500 pounds, and they are capable of reaching a top speed of 15 mph with a 45-mile maximum range.

Features include a rear storage basket and a locking under?seat storage compartment, back?lit speed and battery gauges, hub driven motors, and a twist?throttle for forward and reverse controls.

Additional features include dual hand brakes, captain’s seat with reclining back, adjustable headrest and armrests, auto?style seat that slides forward or back, alarm system with key fob for arming and disarming, front and rear suspension, rear view mirrors and full light package with headlight, taillights and turn signals.

“The ZooMe?R series features Variable Speed Control, which allows the user to limit the top speed at 6, 10 or 15 mph,” says Brandon Sykes, Product Manager ? Power and Manual Wheelchairs, in a media release from the Port Washington, NY-based company. “This series combines modern styling with high?end performance to provide personal transportation for everyone.”

The scooter comes fully assembled on a pallet and has a 3-year warranty on the frame, 12-month warranty on the electronics and a 6-month warranty on the batteries, the release adds.
