Convaid, Torrance, Calif, reports that it will be in attendance at RehaCare International, in Düsseldorf, Germany September 24 to 27. The international trade fair, a Convaid news release says, is known worldwide for rehabilitation products, prevention, inclusion, and care solutions. More than 800 national and international exhibitors from 33 countries featuring industry representatives, service providers, and nonprofits are expected to offer attendees an overview of products and services designed to make life easier for individuals with disabilities.

The company release notes that in addition to presenting Convaid’s line of mobility products, Nanneke Dinklo, director of global marketing and business development, is slated to host a full-day product training. The training is intended to provide an overview and update on a variety of Convaid’s most popular models, including the EZ-Rider, Cruiser, Rodeo, and also will showcase Convaid’s latest product, the Trekker. According to the release, the Trekker pediatric wheelchair is built for all-day comfort and support, and offers users variable positioning, 180 degree reversible seating, and adaptive positioning. The product is scheduled to launch in the US in late 2014.

Chris Braun, Convaid president, emphasizes the company’s appreciation of the opportunity to engage with families, distributors, and fellow manufacturers from around the world, and explains that “…RehaCare allows us to exchange information and develop best practices that will help us expand and innovate to meet the needs of people with disabilities throughout many countries.”

Convaid manufactures pediatric push wheelchairs in a range of sizes and models, and also distributes its products in countries that include Japan, Canada, Russia, Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
