Sunrise Medical, Longmont, Colo, introduces new design enhancements for the Quickie® adult manual wheelchair rigid and folding families: the Quickie® GT, GTi, and Quickie 2.

Combining performance and innovation, the GT and GTi are helping to redefine the ultra lightweight rigid wheelchair market. Adjustable to the users’ specifications, they allow for multiple modifications and offer many lifestyle options.
 

The GT Series is more than 10% lighter than before, and is made for performance: GT and GTi now feature a no-charge folding, lockdown angle, adjustable backrest, Lite Spoke wheels—and, making adjustability as easy and stable as possible, the patented caster design now features 3-D perpendicular alignment.  

The new options include eight Kolorfusion colors, anodized color packages, and Case Logic® storage accessories.

Quickie 2

The Quickie 2 family features versatile, modular, and lightweight folding wheelchairs with features to fit users’ needs.The Quickie 2 Lite, introduced in fall 2008, is a lightweight, simple package that offers an ideal option mix for active users. It has offered more than 64,000 configurations to meet a range of needs. New, lightweight innovations have been added to the traditional frame design, including Q-fit living springs, the new Lite Spoke wheel, and new swing-in, swing-out hangers.
