Coping with the Physical & Emotional Effects of ET,” the third in a teleconference series focusing on essential tremor (ET), will take place Thursday, October 13, at 2 pm PST/5 pm EST.

During the teleconference hosted by the International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF), experts will share up-to-date information about essential tremor and will answer participants’ questions afterward.

No computer or Internet access will be needed, as registered participants will receive a call-in number.

“One of the most requested topics from our audience is to learn more about the many different coping techniques available to them and how they can make everyday living with their ET more manageable,” notes IETF Executive Director Patrick McCartney, in a media release.

“This new teleconference series is just one way the IETF actively works to create awareness of the condition, fund critical, ground-breaking scientific research and offer support to those affected by this life-altering condition,” adds McCartney, who will be facilitating the teleconference.
