Invacare Corp, headquartered in Elyria, Ohio, has sold its Dynamic Controls subsidiary to Allied Motion Technologies. Allied Motion designs, makes and sells precision and specialty motion-control components and systems used in a range of industries. Its products and electrical systems help power recreational, emergency and specialty vehicles worldwide.
Matt Monaghan, Invacare’s chief executive officer, says the deal will help accelerate technical advances in power wheelchairs.
