The enhanced objective reporting includes functional limitation G-code categories, impairment percent with associated modifier code, and patient status, which are considered important for Medicare reimbursement and fostering continuity of care. According to a Biodex news release, the software updates and resulting reporting can foster increased efficiency and productivity. Therapists can use the reporting to efficiently manage patients and generate detailed documentation of treatment effectiveness, providing justification of clinical decision-making.
