AliMed, Dedham, Mass, reports that its new External Wireless Alert Systems deliver high-visibility flashing and sounding alerts outside the patient’s room, allowing caregivers to hear and see the alarm without disturbing patients inside the room. The company’s website notes that each system is marketed with its TR2 Alarm, which provides “Always On” technology, an extended battery life, tamper-resistant controls and connections, and a rugged ABS plastic casting with rubber bumpers.
Additionally, the Wireless Night Light Alarm Systems offer users a wireless night-light to provide illumination in low-lit areas.
To optimize performance, the company suggests its complete system comprised of the Accessory Kit, TR2 Tamper Resistant Alarm, and Bed Pressure Pad (pictured above).
