Home dwellers have a new option for increasing their accessibility to interior and exterior doorways, with the introduction of the Concierge Power Door Opener from Algona, Wash-based EZ-Access.

It can be easily installed without modification to doors or jambs, and plugs into a regular 115-vac wall outlet, explains a media release from the company.

Once installed, the Concierge can be opened manually from either side and will automatically close after a door hold-open time (0 to 30 seconds) is selected.

Available controls include a wall-mounted push plate, a digital keypad, a wireless remote, and a specialty control with sip and puff functionality.

Safety features include an automatic load-sensor in instances when the door encounters an obstruction and a thermally protected drive motor.

“The Concierge Power Door Opener is an easy add-on product for our ramps and lifts,” says David Heinz, EZ-Access director of sales, in the release. “Getting a customer to the door is only part of the hurdle. Getting them in the house with the push of a button makes the user experience safe and easy.”
