Magee Rehabilitation Hospital announces that one of its physicians—Barbara Browne, MD—has been named a “Top Doc” in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, compiled by Philadelphia Magazine.
Browne is the medical director of Magee Rehabilitation’s Stroke and Geriatrics Program, and is considered an expert in the areas of stroke, geriatrics, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. This is her seventh year as a Top Doc.
The Top Doctors list is compiled after surveying physicians and other medical professional across the country, asking them to nominate physicians in a variety of specialties to whom they would refer members of their own families. From these nominated individuals, the Top Docs are selected based on criteria including professional qualifications, professional reputation, experience, and disciplinary history.
Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Philadelphia, is a founding member of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s NeuroRecovery Network.
