MyAbilities has signed an agreement with DSI Work Solutions to integrate the MyAbilities@Work SaaS platform with DSI’s Job Function Matching system.

DSI is now “powered” by MyAbilities by the addition of real-time data to DSI’s service offerings in injury prevention and return-to-work management, according to a media release.

“Our platform will help DSI reach more people, especially new generations of health, safety and human resources professionals, adding decades of service potential to its processes and methods which have long been considered the gold standard.

“More than ever we need a concerted effort among human resources professionals, health providers and insurers to better align workers with jobs and also to leverage data and analytics in our efforts to keep workers safe and productive. With the MyAbilities@WORK platform, we deliver standardization of data, real-time inputs, and help customers make better, more informed decisions. We’re delighted to partner with DSI Work Solutions and look forward to accelerating the transformation of our industry through our partnership with DSI.”

— Reed Hanoun, president and chief executive officer at MyAbilities

“DSI’s success has been built on listening to our customers, and this latest development is a perfect example of this important dialogue. Customers have expressed great interest in web-based applications that leverage DSI’s methodologies. With MyAbilities, we can now offer a dynamic user interface that is connected to data, transparent, and easy to use wherever and whenever our customers choose to ‘plug in’. When industry leaders come together in this manner to reimagine and reinvent solutions, everyone wins.”

— Sue Isernhagen, co-founder of DSI Work Solutions

“We believe the MyAbilities@Work platform and its expert team will allow both companies to reach more employers and make an even greater impact on reducing work injuries and returning injured or ill employees to work, thus avoiding needless disability. The savings to employers, insurers and employees will be increasingly substantial.”

— Ginnie Halling, chief executive officer at DSI

The MyAbilities@WORK digital platform already includes return-to-work, digital job analysis, and office ergonomics components. DSI will plug its Job Function Matching system into an environment that features real time data, user-intuitive reports and will have access to more than 50,000 unique digital job profiles, the release continues.

DSI will start with offering its providers and customers full access to the Rapid Office Strain Assessment (ROSA), which is part of the MyAbilities@Work platform. The plan is to offer ROSA to DSI customers for free for a limited time.
