Pride Mobility Products Corp, based in Exeter, Pa, announces it has promoted Seth Johnson to senior vice president of government affairs.

Johnson, who joined the company in 2004 as director of governmental affairs, has been an advocate for the preservation of mobility-related policy to protect access for those with disabilities. His legislative efforts include advocating against the expansion of competitive bidding and being part of the CMS DME Program Advisory and Oversight Committee for 4 years starting in late 2004, according to a media release from Pride Mobility Products.

In his prior position as vice president of government affairs, Johnson helped fight to prevent 2016 cuts to complex rehab technology (CRT), and worked with key legislators and stakeholders to protect CRT accessory payments via the Patient Access and Medicare Protection Act (S.2425), which was signed into law by the President on December 28. Johnson is also a member of the NCART, AAHomecare and Pennsylvania Association of Medical Suppliers (PAMS) Board of Directors, and is active in many consumer organizations, the release continues.
