Houston, Texas-based U.S. Physical Therapy (USPT) has added Harry S. Chapman to its board of directors, increasing the total board members to 11 from 10.

USPT is a national operator of outpatient physical therapy clinics, running and/or owning 371 clinics in 42 states. USPT clinics provide preventative and post-operative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, non-surgical treatment of osteoarthritis, treatment for neurologically-related injuries and rehabilitation of injured workers.

Chapman is the Chairman and CEO of Chapman Schewe, Inc., a healthcare insurance and employee benefits consulting firm. Previously he served as a Corporate Senior Vice-President and Managed Care Officer of CIGNA’s South Central Region, with responsibility for HMO and PPO plans in several states.
