Kinesio Tape from OPTP, Minneapolis, is a highquality elastic athletic tape designed by Kenzo Kase, DC. It can be worn on the skin for 3 to 4 days without irritation, and during strenuous exercise or hydrotherapy. The adhesive is heat activated; latex-free and FDA-approved; and has an elasticity of 140%, which matches the basic elasticity found in skin and muscles. The Kinesio Taping method involves taping over and around muscles for support, and can be used to correct muscle function, improve blood/lymph circulation, and reposition the subluxation joint. The tape measures 2 inches wide, and the spool includes 4.5 yards.
