Wheelchair Headrest Rotary Interface
Symmetric Designs, Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada, introduces the Axion Rotary Interface® for wheelchair headrests. The device permits headrests to rotate, and can be attached to most headrests and hardware. The product does not require lubrication, and its range of motion can be damped or slowed if required. Cryotherapy Wrap
Dura-Kold Corp, Oklahoma City, introduces the DK-201 cryotherapy wrap, for use by physical therapists and other rehabilitation professionals. This multi-purpose cold wrap can be applied to the knee, shoulder, back, foot, or ankle. It features a hook engageable, nylon loop outer material and a polyethylene/cotton inner fabric with an antimicrobial finish to control bacterial growth on the wrap. Combination Therapy Unit
Mettler Electronics, Anaheim, Calif, introduces the Sonicator® Plus 930 combination therapy unit. This product combines therapeutic ultrasound and muscle stimulation in an ergonomically designed control unit. Ultrasound is provided by a 1- and 3-MHz, 5-cm2 applicator with direct crystal-to-patient contact. Muscle stimulation is delivered in three different waveforms: interferential, premodulated, and medium frequency.
