Manual Wheelchair

Pride Mobility Products Corp, Exeter, Pa, introduces the Stylus, the company’s new manual wheelchair. The Stylus is lightweight and highly durable, and provides enhanced fit and function. In addition, the product features an adjustable tension seat for increased comfort, flip-up armrests for accessibility, quick release, removable rear wheels, industry-compatible legrests with aluminum footplates, long handle wheel locks for added security, a weight capacity of 250 pounds, and multiple-position rear wheel caster mounts that optimize the center of gravity and seat-to-floor height adjustments. Bed Security Rail

Mobility Transfer Systems Inc, Medford, Mass, introduces a new 30-inch security rail for home beds. The rail, which allows the patient to sleep without worry, is excellent for hospice use and for those who fear rolling out of bed. The product comes in two different models: Model 5075, which provides a rail on one side of the bed; and Model 5085, which provides rails on both sides of the bed. The 5075 model will fit any size bed, while the 5085 model will fit twin through queen-size beds. In addition, both models adjust up and down, and are power coated and made of steel.
