EXERCISE PROGRAM BROCHURES

The Hygenic Corp, Akron, Ohio, manufacturer of Thera-Band® products, introduces a series of brochures illustrating two new exercise programs for older adults. The programs, designed to improve balance and strength, are illustrated in the company’s Clinical and Rehabilitation Exercise Systems (CARES) series of brochures. The “Balance and Preventing Falls” program assists older adults in improving balance to help prevent falls, and combines exercises using the Thera-Band stability trainer, exercise ball, and resistive exercise bands or tubing.
