Pride Mobility Products Corp, Exeter, Pa, has promoted Jay Brislin to director of Quantum product and clinical development, where his responsibilities will expand to include involvement in strengthening Quantum Rehab’s sales relationships with providers and clinicians, setting product development priorities for all Quantum brands, and continued quality and operational support.
“It is truly an honor to receive this new opportunity and be able to work with so many talented members of the Quantum team,” Jay said. “It is very fulfilling to know that we are providing products that can improve a person's quality of life by actively working with our providers, therapists, and patients to ensure we are providing what is wanted and needed in the industry. I am happy to play a role in our continued focus on providing the highest quality products that ultimately benefit the people using them.”
With a masters degree in physical therapy, Brislin began his career with Pride Mobility in July 2000 as an Inside Quantum sales specialist. In March 2002, he joined the Quantum Education Department, with the primary duty of educating and training Quantum field representatives in addition to being a presenter for Pride and Quantum’s annual Seminar Tour.
In 2004, Brislin was promoted to general manager of rehab applications and custom rehab, where he developed an effective team responsible for assisting providers in meeting their clients’ unique, complex rehab needs. He created a customer-centric custom rehab team that provides sales support and R&D feedback. Brislin also worked with his team to develop good provider relationships, and through his strong collaborative approach enabled Quantum Rehab to implement multiple options and accessories into the Quantum product line. He and his rehab application team have also enabled Quantum to maintain a strong competitive edge by offering unique, highly specialized options custom fabricated to meet the most complex needs.
Brislin's management role evolved with new responsibilities in 2007, including beta testing, power chair validations, power chair product design reviews, and Q-Logic education and support, resulting in a title change to general manager of Quantum Rehab applications and field product development.
His involvement in and development of Quantum’s beta testing program has enabled the company to gain a higher level of trust in the rehab community and build the Quantum brand’s reputation of serving patients’ needs first.
