The 2011 Toyota Sienna Rampvan XT.

The Braun Corp, Winimac, Ind, introduces two all-new BraunAbility products--the 2010 Honda Odyssey Entervan and the 2011 Toyota Sienna Rampvan® XT. The company says it now offers a lowered-floor conversion for the three most popular minivans in the US market.
With these accessible vehicles, wheelchair users have the option to ride as passengers or, if able, to drive the van. According to Census data, there are approximately 4.3 million wheelchair users in the nation, including veterans, seniors, adults, and children with disabilities. “Mobility is not a luxury; it’s a necessary component to an independent life,” said Nick Gutwein, Braun’s president.
The popular Odyssey minivan is noted for its aerodynamic styling, array of interior options, reliability, and comfort—qualities that are all retained during the conversion process.
The 2011 Sienna Rampvan XT offers accessibility for wheelchair and scooter users in a new, sleek design with enhanced interior options. The Toyota Sienna has a reputation for good quality, design, and comfort. The conversion builds on these attributes with interior space that affords greater maneuverability.
Features of the Toyota Sienna Rampvan XT and the Honda Odyssey Entervan include an automatic door and side-entry ramp and a lowered floor that features three wheelchair securement options. The van’s automatic kneeling system lowers the rear suspension, allowing for a gentle ramp slope and ample sliding door height—56 inches for the Rampvan, and more than 54 inches for the Entervan. Also, Step and Roll front seats can easily be removed, allowing customers to drive the vehicle or ride in the passenger position.
Both vehicles will be available at BraunAbility dealerships across the country. The nationwide dealer network offers more than 200 locations.
The Braun Corp is a large manufacturer of wheelchair-accessible vans, ramps, and wheelchair lifts worldwide, and enables people with physical disabilities to regain mobility and lead active and independent lives.
