Pediatric Chair Is Crash Tested

Kids UP Inc, a manufacturer of pediatric wheelchairs in Belgrade, Mont, has announced its Kids F.A.S.T pediatric wheelchair has successfully passed all WC-19 dynamic crash test requirements, with the Ventilator/Battery tray and IV pole in place.

According to a press release from Kids UP, a successfully crash-tested wheelchair, with the equipment holders in place, enables parents and caregivers the ability to transport their life-support-dependent children in their chairs, without the need to remove the
equipment holders, simplifying the transportation process and eliminating an additional step in the tie-down process.

Life-support equipment and accessories will still need to be removed from the chair and securely fastened to the school bus or vehicle.
