On October 23, 2008, The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute (PTW) hosted an open house at its Lansdale, Pa, location to celebrate National Physical Therapy month.

To mark the occasion, G. Andrew Szekely, mayor of Lansdale, delivered a proclamation praising PTW for its dedication to “the promotion of health maintenance by virtue of consultation, education, evaluation, treatment, and advocacy for its patients and staff.” Other highlights included a medical seminar on the aging shoulder, presented by Peter Wang, MD, of North Penn Orthopedic Associates. A $500 check was also presented to the North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Club to be used toward the purchase of sports equipment and school supplies.
