ConvaidTrekker

Convaid R82’s latest generation of the Convaid Trekker line of tilt-in-space folding wheelchairs features versatile seating options and an improved docking interface.

According to the company, the improved docking interface is designed to help users slide, lock, attach, detach, or reverse the seat. The frame easily folds into a compact and lightweight package with or without the seat, a maneuver that can be now accomplished with one hand.

Seating options include the Trekker seating module with the R82 High-Low indoor frame to promote Activities of Daily Living or the R82 Stingray Size 1 seat with the Trekker frame.

The Trekker can also be used to establish an ideal seating position and promote inclusion for children and youngsters with disabilities to play and engage in activities that help develop their motor and social skills.

Effective October 1, the current Trekker has been discontinued and has been replaced with the new Trekker, a news release from Torrance, Calif-based Convaid R82 continues.
