Accessibility solutions company Lifeway Mobility announces the acquisition of Sugar Hill Building & Design, which specializes in designing and constructing home modifications for people with disabilities or mobility limitations.

Sugar Hill, headquartered in Tolland, Connecticut, will now operate as Lifeway Mobility, and Sugar Hill owner Amy Finke will join the Lifeway Mobility team as the vice president of business development for both Lifeway Mobility and Freedom Lifts, a Lifeway company.

Finke is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and Certified Environmental Access Consultant who works with caregivers, health care professionals and family members to provide solutions to increase home safety, according to a media release from Lifeway Mobility.

“Amy brings years of experience and valuable expertise to the Lifeway team,” says Lifeway Mobility’s Paul Bergantino, in the release. “Her dedication and focus on the unique needs of each client fits perfectly with Lifeway’s commitment to putting the needs of its customers first, and she will enhance our ability to identify the right accessibility solution and serve our customers.

“I’m very excited to be joining Lifeway,” Finke states, “not only because they are a successful team, but because they take a holistic and caring approach to helping people with mobility issues, and that resonates with me. I’m in this to help people, and they are too.”

Lifeway Mobility serves residents of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, providing accessibility solutions such as ramps, stair lifts, and bath safety solutions.
