Updates to the 2017 version of Mobility Ventures’ MV-1 vehicle include a power liftgate, LED headlamps, and an improved user interface for the touch screen radio.

These updates are in addition to the key features of the 2016 model, which include a power passenger door that is operated by a remote keyless fob and a side-entry power ramp.

“The MV-1 is the only wheelchair-accessible vehicle designed from the ground up to meet the needs of people who use wheelchairs, and our 2017 model year enhancements continue to reflect their input,” says Pat Kemp, Mobility Ventures executive vice president, in a media release.

Mobility Ventures, a subsidiary of AM General, revealed the updates during the recent American Public Transportation Association Bus and Paratransit conference, held in Charlotte, NC, per the release.
