Mediware Information Systems Inc announces its recent acquisition of Bowman Systems LLC, a provider of software systems for human services such as homeless assistance.

Among the services Bowman provides are software for housing-related programs, information and referral services, and rescue missions.

Bowman’s flagship product supplies software solutions to approximately 60% of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Continuum of Care (CoC) communities, according to a media release from Mediware.

“Bowman Systems’ strength in homeless management information systems is a great complement to our existing offerings in behavioral health and long-term services and supports. The combined companies will support the growing trend for coordinating services across state and local agencies,” says Thomas Mann, Mediware’s president and CEO, in the release.
