Clinicient Inc, headquartered in Portland, Ore, announces that it is integrating its Insight platform with Knoxville, Tenn-based Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes Inc’s (FOTO) Web-based outcomes-measurement system.

This integration will enable customers using Cinicient’s clinical, financial, and revenue cycle management system Insight to easily measure and communicate the quality and efficiency of patient treatments every step along the way, according to a media release from Clinicient.

The outcomes data from FOTO will enable Clincient customers to easily communicate the value of their therapy to stakeholders. In addition, the Insight platform’s single system for clinical and financial patient information will combine FOTO’s clinical outcomes with Insight data illuminating the financial efficacy of each patient’s treatment plan, the release continues.

“Today’s announcement puts the power to identify and communicate differences in treatment value into both the hands of therapists, as well as the physicians that refer to them,” says Clinicient CEO Rick Jung, in the release.

“The integration of our two systems will make it easier than ever for Clinicient customers to use outcomes data to meet payor incentives and create a win for all parties involved in the delivery of care: patients, providers, and payors,” he adds.

Al Amato, PT, MBA, president of FOTO, explains, in the release, that, “Combining FOTO treatment outcomes data with episodic data available in Clinicient’s platform will provide reports necessary to respond to competitive forces demanding clinical and administrative accountability.”

“You can’t just say you are a good provider anymore. Now, you have to prove you are providing better outcomes, improved patient satisfaction, and lower total cost of care. This combination provides the tools you need to be competitive now and in the future,” he continues.
