Bionic prosthetic device manufacturer iWalk (also known as BiOM) announces that it has changed its name to BionX Medical Technologies Inc.

The Bedford, Mass-headquartered company notes in a media release that the company has relaunched itself with the new name to better reflect its commitment to delivering bionic solutions that address critical unmet needs in the market.

Also according to the release, the relaunch reflects several significant company milestones, including the addition of an industry-leading executive team, market-leading product enhancements, international commercial expansion, and ongoing support from reimbursement authorities such as the US Department of Veterans Affairs and Workers’ Compensation payors across the United States.

Charles S.
