Craig Hospital, Englewood, Colo, has been ranked a top 10 rehabilitation hospital in the United States for the 26th consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report.

A survey of rehabilitation physicians from across the country results in the annual rankings, in which Craig was chosen #7 in the US for rehabilitation. Craig has ranked in the top 10 every year since the rankings began in 1990.

“We’re proud to be recognized by physicians as one of the best rehabilitation hospitals in the nation,” says Mike Fordyce, president and chief executive officer of Craig Hospital. “Our reputation as a leader in rehabilitation has held strong for decades. Most importantly, our patients and graduates live more independently because of our individualized patient care, innovative therapy, technology and research.”

Craig Hospital is a nonprofit, freestanding facility in the greater Denver area that specializes exclusively in rehabilitation and research for people who have sustained spinal cord injuries (SCI) and brain injuries (BI). A media release from Craig Hospital states that the facility is known for the longevity of its staff.

In addition to the annual top-10 ranking by U.S. News and World Report, Craig Hospital has also reportedly received the NDNQI award as the nation’s top rehab hospital based on quality outcome measures 4 out of the last 5 years.
