The 2015 Amputee Coalition National Conference, themed “Everyone’s a Star,” will be held July 23-25 in Tucson, Arizona, announces a press release from the Amputee Coalition.

“On behalf of the Amputee Coalition, we are pleased with the number of people who are attending from so many walks of life,” says Amputee Coalition President and CEO Susan Stout, in the release.

At the conference, where the Coalition will celebrate its 29th year, the release notes, attendees with limb loss and limb difference will be able to partake in numerous educational seminars, networking opportunities, clinics, adaptive sports activities, peer group and support group training, and social events.

Stout adds that the conference will feature a 3D printing plenary session led by industry leaders, 16 different technology sessions, as well as an Exhibit Hall with more than 80 product vendors.

“While we join together with old friends and meet new friends, we all continue to learn from each other; not just for these 3 days but throughout the year,” explains 2015 Education and Conference Advisory Committee Chair and board member Jack Richmond, in the release.

“Many of us have so much to share, while others are just beginning their lives with limb loss. No matter where a person is in their limb loss journey, we are excited to have them as an active participant. Our constituents are our stars,” Richmond shares.
