Physical therapists who are exploring options for creating revenue can learn about how to integrate cash-based services into practice and earn continuing education units as part of a Webinar presented by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) April 16 titled “Eliminate Uncertainty: Integrating Cash-Based Services into Your Practice.” The program, presented by Aaron LeBauer, PT, DPT, LMBT,  is scheduled to go live at 2 p.m. ET.

This interactive Webinar will be conducted live online, with a slide show and speaker presentation. According to the Webinar page the program will provide practical guidance about how to develop a cash-based strategy and identify pros and cons of the cash-based model. A discussion about how to use cost-effective, custom marketing tools that leverage technology will be included in this presentation from Aaron LeBauer, a private practice owner who is said to have developed a highly successful practice despite never accepting insurance.

The Webinar page notes that the presentation aims to help attendees recognize the key attributes necessary to succeed in operating a cash-based program, and be able to identify the steps necessary to get started. Furthermore, the Webinar will describe effective strategies for branding and marketing, and help therapists identify how physical therapy services can enhance value for the patient, community and healthcare system as a whole. Part of the program will also be devoted to helping attendees understand regulations related to a cash-based program.

Details about the Webinar, and how to register are available at the APTA Learning Center.
