A call for postdoctoral fellowship applications has been opened by the Center on Health Services Training and Research (CoHSTAR). Applications for instructions can be found on the Foundation for Physical Therapy’s CoHSTAR webpage.
The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) reports that CoHSTAR is seeking applications for 1-year or 2-year full-time postdoctoral fellowship trainees. The APTA notes the applicants should be committed to advancing health services and health policy research capacity in physical therapy.
Didactic training, travel support, information resources, and secretarial and technical support will be provided as part of the fellowship, according to the APTA, which reports that an annual stipend of $55,000 has been proposed. Fellowships may be based at participating CoHSTAR sites at Brown University, Boston University, or the University of Pittsburgh. Terms reportedly could begin by July 1.
CoHSTAR is led by Linda Resnik, PT, PhD, Brown University, who is principal investigator and director. Other leadership roles at CoHSTAR include Vincent Mor, PhD, Brown University; Anthony Delitto, PT, PhD, FAPTA, University of Pittsburgh; G. Kelley Fitzgerald, PT, PhD, FAPTA, University of Pittsburgh; Alan Jette, PT, MPH, PhD, FAPTA, Boston University; and Mary Slavin, PT, MSPT, PhD, Boston University.
