TiLite, Pasco, Wash, recently introduced a new aluminum folding wheelchair that features a modular frame design and advanced rolling dynamics. The Aero X Series 2’s modular frame design is built to facilitate configurability regardless of location. A company news release notes that this includes adding aftermarket seating systems, switching fixed and swing-away front ends, and growing chair width and/or depth to meet changing customer needs. The configurations can all be changed in the field, according to the release.

The Aero X is also engineered to provide users an easy folding mechanism and full adjustability. The Aero X is offered with a wide range of options and components intended to enable the user to optimize the riding experience, such as wheels, handrims, tires, wheel locks, colors, and tattoos.
