The BraunAbility lineup of wheelchair-accessible vehicles is now included in the Veterans Affairs Federal Supply Schedule (FSS). According to a BraunAbility news release, via a partnership with the Adaptive Driving Alliance (ADA), a wide variety of BraunAbility vehicle and mobility configurations will be available in the FSS, effective immediately.

The release emphasizes that a key priority for both BraunAbility and ADA is ensuring veterans are connected to a Certified Mobility Consultant from a mobility dealer approved by the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA). This is intended to assure veterans receive a proper assessment to pinpoint the best mobility solution for their needs. Additionally, the release says, a NMEDA dealer will provide skilled and dependable service on mobility products to keep veterans secure and protected on the road.

Jim Probst, director of Product Portfolio for BraunAbility, states that the company is pleased to have secured an FSS contract to support individual dealers who “have effectively served our nation’s veterans for decades. BraunAbility will provide the tools to help our NMEDA dealers successfully navigate the changing procurement systems of the VA.”

Paul Musso, managing director, ADA, adds that, “ADA will support the BraunAbility dealer network with programs to reliably serve our nation’s veterans with the quality products and dedicated service they deserve.”

The release reports that through the ADA partnership, BraunAbility will provide competitively priced, medically appropriate conversations to better serve a population that it says, especially recently, “deserves more timely and helpful service.”
