A portable laptop wheelchair tray system available in three base configurations built to provide users a work surface wherever and whenever it is needed, is available through Compusult. The Scotty Laptop wheelchair system is intended to serve as a versatile collection of attachment hardware, connectors, supporting links, and work surfaces.
The company’s website notes that the Scotty “Alex” configuration is a link arm, side-mount, swing-away tray designed to mount to the arm of a wheelchair. Users can increase flexibility by adding the optional angle adjustable link at one, or both ends of the arm.
The Scotty “Kristen” is a center-mount, pedestal tray featuring a slide in base engineered to fit under a wheelchair seat cushion and includes a female quick connect. Users can also increase flexibility by adding optional angle adjustable link at one, or both ends and/or increasing or decreasing pedestal height when ordering.
The Scotty “Claire” (pictured above right) is a surface amount tray assembly. The site notes that a variety of different base mounts can be ordered and flexibility increased by adding the optional angle adjustable link at one, or both ends of the assembly.
