Ottobock’s Darrell Burnette has been promoted to regional sales manager for the East Region of the company’s Mobility Solutions sales team. In a company news release, Ottobock notes that Burnette joined the Minneapolis-based company in 2011 as the territory sales representative, covering Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.

Burnette earned his Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) credentials in August 2013 and also serves as a sales mentor, supporting peers and helping to “define and refine” the sale processes, the release states.

According to the release, Burnette holds a master of science in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University and a bachelor of science in Recreational Therapy from East Carolina University. Prior to his time at Ottobock, Burnette was successful in sales and managing others in the pharmaceutical and O&P industries.

His passion for the work he does and the customers and patients he sees is evident in his work and he continues as a valued leader and mentor in our company.”
