In a recent news release, Sunlighten, Overland Park, Kan, announced its launch of a new ADA-compliant far infrared sauna, featuring Solocarbon technology. The release notes that Solocarbon far infrared heaters are clinically shown to lower blood pressure, increase core temperature, aid in weight loss, and have been proven 95% emissive.

The technology is available in an industrial-grade design, and according to the release it is 100% compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The product is comprised of eucalyptus wood with a thicker floor. It features 16-gage electrical wiring and a nontoxic, waterproof sealant to protect from sweat, as well as a 36-inch door, 60-inch by 60-inch turning space, and an exterior ramp with safety rails and brushed finish to prevent slipping.
