Ottobock employee Kathy Schuerman has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Finance for North America. A company news release notes that Schuerman joined Ottobock in 2006 as Controller and most recently served as Executive Director of Finance following her promotion to that position in 2012. Schuerman will also continue to serve as a member of the Regional Management Team, where she consults with the Leadership team and offers her financial expertise.

The release notes that Schuerman is a certified public account (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management with emphasis in Accounting and an AAS from St. Cloud Technical Business College. Schuerman is a member of the Minnesota CPA Society, the release says, as well as a member of AICPA Society, and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
