A news release from Messe Düsseldorf North America, reports that the 3-day MEDICAL FAIR INDIA 2014, India’s number one trade fair designed for hospitals, health centers, and clinics, saw an increase in visitor and exhibitor participation this year. The release notes that a total of 443 exhibitors and 8,013 registered trade visitors engaged in the fair. The fair saw 323 exhibitors and 6,721 trade visitors during its 2012 staging.

According to the release, the fair’s product portfolio encompasses innovations worldwide that specifically target the Indian healthcare market. Products presented range from a wide variety of sectors, including medical technology, hospital, health clinic and pharmacy equipment, furnishings, as well as rehabilitation technology. The trade fair featured country group exhibits from China, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan. The fair also featured a US Pavilion, which the release says was supported by US Commercial Service and state of Illinois. International exhibitors hailing from Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Indonesia, and South Africa also joined the 142 domestic exhibitors.

The next MEDICAL FAIR INDIA is slated for March 21 to 23, 2015 at Pargati Maidan in New Delhi.
