web-atA follow-up course to a previous webinar conducted in the Fall of 2013 will demonstrate the newest AT apps designed to accommodate students with disabilities. According to the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA), the March 4 webinar will demonstrate the newest apps to participants in terms of communication, reading, writing, and note taking.

Recommended attendees for the webinar, which will be held at 3 pm ET, include AT technology professionals interested in assistive technology apps for students with disabilities. Learning objectives for the course, RESNA says, will center on the ability to identify two new apps for writing; identifying two new features of the Write online app designed to help students with disabilities with writing; and identifying three features on Proloquo4Text that make it a worthwhile app for students with disabilities.

Participants must register in advance for the course with a valid email address. CEUs can be obtained after the webinar with the completion of a webinar quiz.
