ann22In her newest blog post, Ann Eubank (pictured right) explores the dilemmas that face clinicians committed to providing the best for their patients in a “broken system.”

Having taken the fight to Capitol Hill herself, Ann advises clinicians against waiting for permission to make a change, and instead encourages them to ask, “What is worth changing?” and then act. Ann points out that each clinician has the resources and knowledge to make a change. To attach action to that change, Ann says, a clinician need only begin with what lies in front of her or him. She adds that this includes any observations of arbitrary or discriminatory threats against patient-centered practice.
