Hanger Clinic, Austin, Texas, has reportedly signed on to support the Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF) as a 2013 Bronze level sponsor. Hanger notes that the sponsorship marks the continued tradition of its support to OPAF since OPAF’s inception in 1995.
In a company news release, Hanger adds that OPAF and the First Clinics aim to provide adaptive recreational opportunities to the same population, and Hanger’s support, OPAF says, will serve as a key component in its success moving forward.
Rick Taylor, Hanger Clinic, president, COO, reports that, “The programs provided by OPAF help to enhance the total patient experience, and we are happy to continue our sponsorship of this organization as many of our patients benefit from its important health and fitness programs.”
Robin Burton, OPAF executive director, echoes Taylor’s sentiments, noting that, “OPAF is honored to be chosen for this level of support from an industry leader such as Hanger Clinic.” Burton states nationwide recognition of Hanger will also assist in reaching new patients with the First Clinics.
