In recognition of his support and flexibility provided to employees serving in the military, BraunAbility reports that Ralph Braun, CEO, The Braun Corporation, has received the Employee Support of the Guard and Reserves Patriot Award. The company notes that Braun was nominated for the award by 6-year employee Sgt Don Perkins, who wanted to show appreciation for the time off he and other employees were granted in order to fulfill their military duties.
Larry Brady, Indiana Employee Support of the Guard and Reserves representative, emphasizes, “It’s critical that employers maintain a flexible and supportive environment for our citizen-soldiers who work hard to fulfill the demands of their careers and their commitment to serve our nation.” Bardy also articulates his excitement in presenting the award to Braun, “On behalf of the Department of Defense and all patriotic Americans…”
Braun adds that, “It is an honor to be recognized by such an organization. The honor truly goes to the people of our company for their belief in our country and the impact the men and women on the front lines make in our lives on a day-to-day basis.”
