neuroA nationally-scaled, neurologic training program designed for licensed physical therapists (PTs) was recently unveiled by the NeuroRecovery Training Institute (NeuroRTI), Louisville, Ky. A NeuroRTI news release reports that its educational offerings are slated to include a Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency, Transition Doctorate of Physical Therapy, certifications and online continuing education courses.

Online course will reportedly encompass a range of topics connected to neurologic conditions and injuries. The release notes that the NeuroRTI began accepting applications for the first residency and TDPT cohorts November 2.

Andrea Behrman, PT, PhD, NeuroRTI founder, explains that, “The vision of the NeuroRecovery Training Institute is to advance the outcomes of patients living with neurological injuries related to spinal cord dysfunction and acquired brain injury.”
