The American Physical Therapy Association has announced a new podcasting feature added to its Web site to provide physical therapy service providers with recent government affairs news that could affect their practices.

The first podcast episode titled, "What PTs Need to Know Now," is narrated by APTA Vice President of Government Affairs Dave Mason. Visitors can listen to the feed directly from a computer or download it to an MP3 player.

The 6-minute podcast covers continuing legislative successes in Congress and state legislatures, recent rules changes announced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and the latest update on National Provider Identifier contingency plans.
